Thousands petition for Kevin James to replace Spacey on House of Cards

Losing a great show is hard, no matter the circumstances. However with hardship come the opportunity for a great show to become one of the greatest television shows of all time. I think Kevin James can elevate "House of Cards" to a globally adored franchise like "Game of Thrones" and make the entire world focus on one of the most important Netfix Original series there is.

So says the Change.org campaign that wishes for PAUL BLART: MALL COP, HERE COMES THE BOOM, and PIXELS star Kevin James to step into the role of Frank Underwood for the sixth and final season of the Netflix Original series HOUSE OF CARDS. So far, the petition has recieved 19,422 signatures of the desired 25,000 amount. The role of Frank Underwood was previously played by Kevin Spacey, who in recent times has been accused of multiple instances of sexual misconduct, including an incident with then-14-year-old STAR TREK DICOVERY star Anthony Rapp.

Now, I've got nothing against Kevin James (hell, he's practically an old neighbor of mine), but this shit is hilarious! In removing myself from the hilarity of it all, there is a part of me that wonders if the KING OF QUEENS star has got the chops to pull something like this off. I know that the majority of us are used to seeing him in pratfall-ridden roles alonside side his Sandler-inspired co-horts, but I wouldn't be so quick to discount James from the race entirely. I mean, he's already portrayed a president of the United States when he starred in Pixels and … I'm sorry, I don't know if I can finish this paragraph without my article devolving into something more awful than THE RIDICULOUS 6, which James had managed to avoid taking part in.
