Thora Birch excited & open to returning for Hocus Pocus 2

Disney has a sequel to director Kenny Ortega and screenwriter Mick Garris' comedy-horror HOCUS POCUS starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, in the works at their recently launched streaming service Disney+. And today we hear word that GHOST WORLD and THE WALKING DEAD actress Thora Birch is excited about the sequel and open for returning as Dani.

Thora Birch says about HOCUS POCUS 2:

I’m excited for it. They’ve been talking about this reboot for five years. I’m excited to see what it all looks like. I know a little bit about a couple of ideas for stories, but I don’t know where it’s all going to fall at the end of the day. [I would return] If they would have me, depending on [the story]. I’m sure Dani’s not going to be selling crack in an alley anywhere, so I’m pretty open-minded.

Personally, I hope that Disney asks Birch to return. Selling crack in an alley or whatever. Because I don't know about you guys, but the thought of a HOCUS POCUS 2 without the original cast just seems like a waste of time to me. How about you?
