You could say people were screaming “YESS!!!!” for the new THOR: RAGNAROK trailer.
With people using the YouTube every day to watch cat videos and clowns chasing people through a tunnel , the 24-hour viewing record for a trailer is as easily broken as Sean Spicer’s brain (politi-slam!). Now the trailer for the new movie has just claimed the crown, and people are bowing at its mightiness.
Okay, maybe it’s not wearing the crown, but it's got a crown, but THR is reporting that Monday’s footage for THOR: RAGNAROK has just beaten all other Disney and Marvel movies for the most watched trailer in 24 hours. Raking in 136 million views, THOR topped previous Disney champ BEAUTY AND THE BEAST’s 127 million and easily bested previous Marvel victor CIVIL WAR’s 94 million.
Wanna add to its numbers? Too late you’re already watching it!
The trailer certainly struck a chord with audiences thanks to its bright colors, rocking music and hilarious final line. People are itching to watch Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) duel, as well as to see Cate Blanchett break the God of Thunder like he was a toothpick…a toothpick with flowing golden hair.
THOR: RAGNAROK arrives November 3 with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, and Tessa Thompson.
