This promo for Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 has guts AND glory

Starz has released its first promo for Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2, and It. Is. Groovy. A rapidfire barrage of bloody satisfaction, this is like the first season times two. I can't wait to see what dripping, gory fun this season will bring after a tremendously gonzo beginning. Check out the teaser below, but be warned. You're definitely in the splash zone.

Here's the short synopsis for Season 2, returning this October:

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.
Ash vs Evil Dead returns to Starz this fall! We should be getting a sneak peek at it this month at San Diego Comic-Con.

Ash vs. Evil Dead stars Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Dana DeLorenzo, and Ray Santiago. Joining them this season are Lee Majors, Ted Raimi and Michelle Hurd as Brock Williams, Ash’s father, Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend, and Linda, Ash’s high school love respectively.
