GODZILLA RESURGENCE marks Godzilla's return to Japan after 12 years, and though the CGI is a little wobbly, the daikaiju eiga never let something like effects stop them from telling a bonkers, awesome monster story! In this new promo for the film, Godzilla wreaks havoc in a city and faces off against military forces in a monster display of badassdom. Check it out below!

GODZILLA RESURGENCE is directed by Shinji Higuchi (ATTACK ON TITAN) and Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion) from a script by Anno. It stars Satomi Ishihara, Hiroki Hasegawa, and Yutaka Takenouchi. The film will crush Japanese theaters on July 29th, 2016.
