I rather enjoy the UNDERWORLD series, and I am excited for the next entry in the series UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING. It looks like a damn good time and the lovely Kate Beckinsale returns as Seline, one of the better vampire characters of recent times (and sexy ones).
Things had been quiet on the film front over the holiday season but have no fear Screen Gems have debuted a brand new TV Spot for the film! It does a great job of selling the film in 30 seconds and I might be even more excited for the film! Plus you know, Beckinsale in that costume is quite the distraction … anyway you can check it out below and enjoy the tight costume!
Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.
The film was directed by the duo of Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein, with Beckinsale starring alongside Stephen Rea, Charles Dance, Sandrine Holt, Kris Holden-Reid, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley, Jacob Blair and Richard Cetrone. The film opens later this month on the 20th in 3D, IMAX 3D, with select theaters showing 2D.
