This extended spot for Avengers: Age of Ultron is crammed with new footage

With two trailers having premiered to millions of views, who would have thought an unannounced TV spot premiering on Twitter would be the best look at AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON? That is what has happened as this new minute long look at the Joss Whedon superhero epic is crammed with almost entirely new looks at every member of The Avengers, including our first dialogue spoken by Quicksilver.

Presented in a roll call format, this extended spot opens with a clear look at Avengers Tower along with Tony Stark correcting Maria Hill for calling him the boss. Instead, Stark says Captain America is the boss and he merely bankrolls and invents for the team. We get new looks at Black Widow’s enhanced weapons, a new wrist gauntlet for Cap’s shield, and the retrofitted Quinjet. Hawkeye gets some new screen time and the great line “if you step out that door, you’re an Avenger”. Captain throws a motorcycle, Thor hammers Cap’s shield, Black widow flirts with Hulk, and much more.

I cannot be more excited for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and that is far and away thanks to the excellent marketing done so far. We really do not have a clear picture of what this movie is about and we know next to nothing about the new characters. This is exactly what you want your blockbuster to be: fresh and mysterious despite millions of snoopers scooping on the production. Are you excited? I know I am.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens on May 1st.
