What with all this talk of Disney movies you’d think only movies on the way had something to do with Marvel and STAR WARS. Not so, for one of the most anticipated movies of the year is the follow-up to Ridley Scott’s BLADE RUNNER – BLADE RUNNER 2049. The movie just dropped a third epic trailer for your viewing pleasure…that is if a bleak harsh future gives you pleasure.
Obviously, the action looks just as stellar as it has in previous trailers, and the terrific score recalls the classic Scott film, but where this footage differs from those is that we get a better look at the characters Dave Bautista, Jared Leto, and Robin Wright play. On top of that this trailer lets us know questions posed at the end of the original film will be answered here, while new ones may be left in their place. Overall this is one of my most anticipated of the year, and this new trailer proves why. A big reason is to see what Bautista looks like as a hermit who wears glasses, gray stubble and spends his time, I don't know, reading.
BLADE RUNNER 2049 with Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Leto, Bautista and Wright arrives October 6.
