This upcoming Monday will find the Headless Horseman galloping in for the premiere of Fox's "Sleepy Hollow", a clever re-imagining of the classic Washington Irving tale that actually doesn't look too shabby. Yesterday we shared a creepy TV spot for the supernatural-based series with ya, and today we have two more spots worth losing your head over. Or maybe not. They're not that good. But whatever…you get what I'm saying. We'll be tuning in to give "Sleepy Hollow" a chance and if these promos that we've seen so far are any indication, we just may be in for a fun time.
In this modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison; Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie; 42, Shame) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.
"Sleepy Hollow" is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove, and Len Wiseman. The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci, Wiseman, and Heather Kadin. Len Wiseman helmed the pilot which airs next Monday, September 16 on Fox.
