These 19 films were submitted for Best Animated Feature Oscar

ANIMATED DEATHMATCH! Nineteen will enter and five will be left to compete for the title of “Best Animated Film” for the 86th Academy Awards.

Basically every big animated movie that came out this year was nominated. Can I nominate DRAGONBALL Z: BATTLE OF THE GODS? No? Fine.

Some of the titles I am not as familiar with so it would be unfair for me to pick out a winner. That said, I’m going to predict with that submission omitted. Personally, I see it going to MONSTERS UNIVERSITY. The film picked up like there was no 12-year gap between installments. We were introduced to a new group of characters that were just as enjoyable as the ones from the first. Not to mention it kicks up major nostalgia. Sure there’s no Boo running around being adorable, but we got to see Mike Wazowski with braces.

SMURFS 2 doesn’t even go here.
