Theater standee for Solo: A Star Wars Story puts you in the Falcon’s cockpit

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

In a little over two months, we'll be sitting down for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY, which still feels a little strange so soon after the release of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, and although the troubled production history has put a bit of a question mark as to the quality of the film, I'm beginning to come around. At the very least, it looks as though it will be an entertaining ride. As marketing for the STAR WARS spin-off ramps up, we'll soon be seeing much more of SOLO in our theaters, including this rather cool standee which will put you in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.

Although it's something I wanted to do when I was younger, I've never actually worked in a theater, but for those of you who have, are these standees as big of a pain to assemble as I'm imagining? Let us know if you spot one of these standees in the wild and are able to snap a pic of yourself alongside Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), Tobias Beckett (Woody Harrelson), Qi'ra (Emilia Clarke), and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo).

The official synopsis for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY:

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY will hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
