Bill & Ted Face the Music, Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter

I'll admit to being one of those who believed that a third installment of the BILL & TED franchise would never see the light of day, but I was quite pleased to be proven wrong when production on the long-belated sequel finally kicked off last year. BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC will feature William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter) and Theodore "Ted" Logan (Keanu Reeves) taking the stage once again, and the Wyld Stallyns are offering you the chance to appear in the movie!

It was announced today that the production is calling on you to film yourselves, your family, your friends, or even your pets rocking out with instruments – either real or fake – or go full-on air guitar to a provided demo track for the chance to appear in BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC. You can check out partyonwithbillandted.com for the demo track and learn how to submit your video. The submission deadline for the videos is May 20th, so get to work! In addition to Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC also stars Brigette Lundy-Paine as Billie Logan, Ted's daughter, Samara Weaving as Thea Preston, Bill's daughter, and William Sadler as Death, as well as Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Jillian Bell, Holland Taylor, Beck Bennett, Hal Landon Jr., and Amy Stoch. BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC was directed by Dean Parisot from a script by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.

The official synopsis for BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC:

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

At the moment, BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC is slated to hit theaters on August 21, 2020, but that release will depend on the state of the COVID-19 shut-down.
