I don't know about you, but I enjoyed the first season of Netflix's dark reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch called Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. And it's with this in mind that I'm looking forward to checking out the upcoming second season, which will be upon us this April. And speaking of the new season, today we have the official trailer for you to check out. This new trailer is on top of the new poster we shared last week (which you can check out again below).
Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 finds the teenage witch
exploring her darker side, curious to learn more about her heritage, while struggling to maintain her friendships in the mortal world. Romantically, Sabrina is caught in an unholy love triangle with between sexy warlock Nicholas Scratch and salt-of-the-Earth mortal Harvey Kinkle. Meanwhile, The Dark Lord, Madame Satan, and Father Blackwood continue to conjure chaos in the Spellman household and the town of Greendale. And they aren’t the only ones trying to raise hell. Everything is in question…relationships, identity, true intentions…when the devil’s work is at hand.
Kiernan Shipka plays Sabrina. Her co-stars include Miranda Otto as Sabrina's disciplinarian aunt Zelda; Lucy Davis as her nurturing aunt Hilda; Ross Lynch as her love interest Harvey Kinkle; Jaz Sinclair as her best friend Rosalind Walker; Chance Perdomo as her warlock cousin Ambrose; Michelle Gomez as Sabrina's teacher Mary Wardell, who becomes possessed by the devil's handmaiden Madam Satan; Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood, High Priest of the Church of Night and Dean of the Academy of the Unseen Arts, a man with a "terrifying dark agenda"; Bronson Pinchot as Baxter High's villainous puritanical principal George Hawthorne; Alexis Denisof as the handsome and charming Adam Masters; Jedidiah Goodacre as an enigmatic club owner named Dorian Gray; and Tati Gabrielle as Prudence, leader of a trio of witches called the Weird Sisters and a character who has a possibly life-threatening grudge against Sabrina. The second season arrives to continue the story of Sabrina, a teenage witch on April 5, 2019.
