Like most people, I really enjoyed DEADPOOL. It was fun and irreverent at a time when superhero movies were starting to feel a little staid. It's still one of the few R-rated superhero comedies, and one of the more balls-out (unless you count SUPER). So anticipation for the sequel is high, especially with JOHN WICK co-director David Leitch doing solo duties. Let's just hope that he's as good at delivering comedy as he is ass-whoopings.
Anyway, here's the official synopsis for THE UNTITLED DEADPOOL SEQUEL, courtesy of IGN:
I…I'm not going to lie. I don't find that synopsis funny. It's a bit too "lolrandom" for me. I'm sure there are hidden references and inside jokes that I'm missing, but I don't want a fucking decoder sheet to laugh at a joke. But I hope you Schmoes find it funny. Either way, I'm still looking forward to the film, and enjoyed that Bob Ross spoof, so I still have high hopes! And, if nothing else, I can't wait to finally see Cable in action!
Meanwhile, DEADPOOL will blast and laugh into theaters June 1st, 2018.
