Welcome back to The UnPopular Opinion! The UnPopular Opinion features different takes on films that either I hated, but that the majority of film fans loved or vice versa. We have always hoped this column will promote constructive and geek fueled discussion. Now, with us entering the visual world, you can get pissed off in a whole new medium!
One constant that most movie fans can agree on is that GREEN LANTERN is awful. Yeah, the DC Comics movie that was supposed to help launch a new wave of superhero movies for Warner Bros was instead a disaster that almost ended careers. While it did result in Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively becoming the most unfairly pretty couple of all time, the hate heaped on GREEN LANTERN is far from deserved.
