In honor of the much anticipated reboot of The X-Files, Fox will be running a 201-day marathon starting today on July 7th, 2015. They will be airing the entire series, one episode per day every day until the premiere of the reboot series. As if that weren't enough to beam us up, they slipped one more little nugget into their promo: A sliver of new footage from the upcoming series. It's not much, but die hard X-Files fans are used to believing in something with only a scrap of evidence. Check out the promo below!
The reboot series premiere, "My Struggle", centers on Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) investigating Annet Mahendru's character, who is believed to be a "possible alien abductee," according to Joel McHale's character, a conservative talk show host who gives Mulder and Scully the tip to investigate her.
With original cast members Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis also set to return, The X-Files will beam onto Fox with a six-episode season on January 24, 2016.
