On this first episode, Nick takes a look back at Joel Schumacher's 1987 Vampire flick THE LOST BOYS starring Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Jami Gertz, Edward Herrmann, Barnard Hughes, and Dianne Wiest.
Will THE LOST BOYS pass The Test of Time? Find out above!
For those of you that might not know, THE LOST BOYS follows:
Teenage brothers Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) who move with their mother (Dianne Wiest) to a small town in northern California. While the younger Sam meets a pair of kindred spirits in geeky comic-book nerds Edward (Corey Feldman) and Alan (Jamison Newlander), the angst-ridden Michael soon falls for Star (Jami Gertz) — who turns out to be in thrall to David (Kiefer Sutherland), leader of a local gang of vampires. Sam and his new friends must save Michael and Star from the undead.
Joel Schumacher directed THE LOST BOYS from a screenplay written by Janice Fischer, James Jeremias, and Jeffrey Boam. Harvey Bernhard produced and the film starred Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Jami Gertz, Edward Herrmann, Barnard Hughes, and Dianne Wiest. Warner Bros. unleashed the teen vampire flick into a theater near you back on July 31, 1987. Buy it on Blu-ray HERE.
