CBS All Access has just released an epic new trailer for their upcoming big-budget adaptation of Stephen King's seminal sci-fi thriller, THE STAND! You watch the promo at the top of the article, and below is the official synopsis:
The plot centers on a pandemic of a weaponized strain of influenza that kills almost the entire world population. The few survivors, united in groups, establish a new social system and engage in confrontation with each other.
Meanwhile, THE STAND – directed John Boone and starring James Marsden, Odessa Young, Jovan Adepo, Whoopi Goldberg, and Alexander Skarsgård – will premiere on CBS All Access December 17th!
