CBS All Access' upcoming re-adaptation of Stephen King's epic post-apocalyptic novel THE STAND has just unveiled a stylish new poster – ahead of the limited series' impending release – which you can view at the bottom of the article!
And here's the official synopsis:
The Stand is an apocalyptic vision of the struggle between good and evil of a world decimated by plague. The fate of mankind rests on the shoulders of the 108-year-old Mother Abagail and a handful of survivors. Their worst nightmares are embodied by a nefarious man with unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg.
Meanwhile, the newest version of THE STAND – directed by John Boone (THE NEW MUTANTS) and starring James Marsden, Whoopi Goldberg, and Alexander Skarsgård – will premiere on CBS All Access December 17th!
