The upcoming second season of THE PUNISHER starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle will be blasting onto Netflix later this month. And today Marvel has released a new promo for the series that promises that the trailer will be hitting tomorrow! Until then, the powers that be over at the streaming giant were gracious enough to hand us over a poster for the new season.
You can check out the new promo video boasting tomorrow's trailer below along with the poster and last week's all-new teaser trailer. Give all of that a look-see below and then mark your calendars for tomorrow as we will be posting the trailer as soon as we get our hands on it.
Until then, here's the official season two synopsis:
Former Marine-turned-vigilante Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has been living a quiet life on the road until he suddenly becomes embroiled in the attempted murder of a young girl (Giorgia Whigham). As he is drawn into the mystery surrounding her and those in pursuit of the information she holds, Castle attracts a new target on his back as new and old enemies force him to confront whether he should accept his destiny and embrace life as The Punisher.
The series will see the return of Ben Barnes as Billy Russo aka Jigsaw, along with Floriana Lima as Krista Dumont, "a smart, compassionate, and driven psychotherapist for military veterans," Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix, "a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past," Corbin Bernsen, as Anderson Schultz, "an extremely wealthy man who’s grown accustomed to getting his way. His power and legacy are of prime importance, and he’ll implement less-than-legal means to further those ends," and Annette O’Toole as Eliza Schultz, "Anderson’s equally manipulative wife." Amber Rose Revah and Jason R. Moore are also returning to the series.
THE PUNISHER season two hits Netflix on Friday, January 18th.
