Get ready, The 70th Annual Golden Globes have let loose their nominations for outstanding achievements in film and television. For the most part, everything is “as expected” in terms of who would be nominated for what. Very few surprises, although they left out GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE for best picture. Strange, that.
The Golden Globes usually serve as a preview for the “big shot” (aka The Oscars) so it’ll be interesting to see how it all shakes out. As much as I loathe awards shows, I can’t hide the fact that I’m usually interested to see how they turn out. If my “team” wins then I’m good. If my “team” loses, then I’m pretty much like, “F*ck awards shows.”
