Like many of you, I’ve long wished for the Adam Sandler comedy 50 FIRST DATES to be recut into a horror movie and now Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, and Mark Strong have teamed up to deliver just that! It’s the newest trailer for BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP and joking aside it actually looks like a decent enough thriller.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Based on the worldwide best-selling novel by S.J. Watson, BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP is the story of a woman (Nicole Kidman) who wakes up every day with no memory as the result of a traumatic accident in her past. One day, terrifying new truths begin to emerge that make her question everything she thinks she knows about her life – as well as everyone in it, including her doctor (Mark Strong) and even her husband (Colin Firth).
With a strong cast and good Halloween release, the movie should do well to scare a few people into checking it out. Are you heading to the theater this Halloween for anything specific? For horror the pickings are slim with ANNABELLE (our review), TUSK (our review), OUIJA (opens October 24th), and the re-release of SAW opening on October 31st as well).
BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP opens in theaters on October 31st 2014.
