Classes at Bayside High School will be resuming in two short months. It has been announced that the new Saved by the Bell will be making its debut on the Peacock streaming service in November.
Arriving just in time for Thanksgiving, the newly revamped Saved by the Bell will premiere on November 25, 2020. At the start of the new series, a number of kids from underfunded high school whose doors Governor Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) closed, end up at Bayside, giving the privileged preppies that roam those halls a bit of a reality check.
The new series is being called a "reimagining" rather than a revival or continuation series and it will star some of its original cast in their original roles. You can expect to see Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley Lauren as AC Slater and Jessie Spano, respectively, while Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen will guest star as Zack and Kelly Morris. Newcomers making up the new generation of Bayside students include Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Pena, and Belmont Cameli.
Been waiting for this one since the first trailer dropped. Always down for some Saved by the Bell nostalgia. Will YOU be watching?
