The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is going on the road in season three teaser

Amazon’s THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL is one of the most acclaimed comedies on TV, and not long after it secured yet another slew of Emmy nominations, it’s now time to get excited about the third season with a new teaser. The first footage teases the return of one of the best casts on TV (as well as some new faces), and in the end unveils the season premiere date of December 6, which leaves you with plenty of ammo to deal with the stress and anxiety that comes with Christmas cheer.

After learning more about the ropes of show business and starting to make a name for herself in season two, Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) is really starting to leave her mark by going on her first tour alongside singer Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain). “This is the first of a million tours,” she tells her manager Susie Myerson (Alex Borstein), which comes right as a newcomer to the series, Sterling K. Brown, makes his appearance.

Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, the second season of the show was nominated for 20 Emmys this year, including Outstanding Comedy Series and for actors Brosnahan, Borstein, Tony Shaloub and guest actors Jane Lynch and Luke Kirby.

MRS. MAISEL is easily one of the best shows on television, and this new season looks just as wonderful as the previous two. That cast is always on point, with Brosnahan in particular always stealing the show, even with all the stellar production values and costumes around. Brown will probably fit right in with the rest of the ensemble, and if he and Maisel become a bit of an item across the season, well, that aspect alone will probably earn about a dozen Emmys next year. 

THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL premieres on Amazon Prime on December 6.
