The Mandalorian: Lego’s massive Razor Crest set is a thing of beauty

If you’ve got money (and time) to burn, then you just might be interested in the absolutely massive LEGO set of The Razor Crest, the ship flown by Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) in The Mandalorian. The ship has previously been released in LEGO form in a thousand-piece set, but this Ultimate Collector Series version of The Razor Crest is on another level. Measuring over 28 inches long, the new set consists of a whopping 6,186 pieces!

The LEGO Razor Crest set is “packed with authentic details that reference memorable Star Wars: The Mandalorian moments. The top of the starship and its huge engines lift off for easy viewing of the detailed interior, and the cockpit is removable for access to the sleeping quarters. It has side hatches and a cargo compartment with a weapons cabinet, a minifigure-size carbon-freezing chamber and more, plus a detachable escape pod.” The set also includes a handful of LEGO minfigures, including The Mandalorian, Mythrol, Kuiil, Grogu, and a buildable Blurrg.

As for the TV series, the third season of The Mandalorian will be released on Disney+ in February 2023. The new season will take us back to Mandalore, where Din Jjarin hopes to be forgiven for his transgressions… such as removing his helmet; that rascal. Along with Din and Grogu, we can expect to see the return of Bo-Katan Kryse (Katee Sackhoff), The Armorer (Emily Swallow), Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), and Dr. Pershing (Omid Abtahi). In keeping with tradition, the series almost certainly has some big surprises in store. Pascal has previously teased that The Mandalorian season 3 is “even better than the previous one. It’s safe to say that you’re going to love it.

The LEGO set is set to be released on October 7th and will run you $599.99. Not exactly peanuts.
