What happens when three Oscar winners join forces to team up for a new psychological thriller? You get The Litte Things, which brings together Denzel Washington, Jared Leto, and Rami Malek in the latest directorial effort from the director of The Blind Side, John Lee Hancock.
Hancock is also working form his own screenplay which sees "Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Washington) being sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence-gathering assignment. Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a killer who is terrorizing the city. Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter (Malek), impressed with Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case"
The Little Things will have the distinction to be the first 2021 film released by Warner Bros. to test the simultaneous HBO Max and theatrical release strategy. The film will follow Wonder Woman 1984 in this endeavor and given that The Little Things isn't a huge tentpole release, this psychological thriller could play very well at home and given its cast, could become a popular title.
The Little Things will open in theaters on January 29, 2021, and will also be available to stream on HBO Max for 31 days beginning on the same day. Did YOU like the trailer? You can check out the film's official key art below!
