The Lighthouse hits Blu-ray in January

THE WITCH director Robert Eggers's fantasy-horror flick THE LIGHTHOUSE starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson hit theaters last month. And today we've learned the film arrives on Digital from Lionsgate next month before hitting On-Demand, Blu-ray, and DVD in January. The film has been rated R for sexual content, nudity, violence, disturbing images, and some language. Read our 8/10 review HERE. Written by Robert Eggers and Max Eggers, THE LIGHTHOUSE has a vague-ass synopsis which reads:

From Robert Eggers, the visionary filmmaker behind modern horror masterpiece The Witch, comes this hypnotic and hallucinatory tale of two lighthouse keepers on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.

Robert Eggers directs the new fantasy-horror flick from a screenplay he co-wrote along with Max Eggers. Youree Henley, Lourenço Sant' Anna, Rodrigo Teixeira, and Jay Van Hoy produced. Jarin Blaschke is the movie's cinematographer and Louise Ford edited the flick. RT Features, New Regency, and Parts & Labor are the production companies. The film was shot on 35mm black-and-white stock using equipment from the 1920s and ’40s.

THE LIGHTHOUSE arrives on Digital from Lionsgate December 20, and On-Demand, Blu-ray, and DVD January 7, 2020.
