The Last Victim trailer: Ali Larter, Ron Perlman neo-Western thriller comes to theatres and VOD in May

After a couple decades of working as a producer, Naveen A. Chathapuram has made his feature directorial debut with the upcoming neo-Western thriller The Last Victim, and he gathered a solid cast for his movie: the leads are played by Ali Larter (Final Destination), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), and Ralph Ineson (The Witch). The Last Victim is set to receive a theatrical and digital/VOD release on May 13th, courtesy of Decal, and with that date just a few weeks away a trailer has been released online. You can check it out in the embed above.

Written by Ashley James Louis from a story Chathapuram crafted with Doc Justin, The Last Victim has the following synopsis:

In this stylized neo-Western thriller, a group of modern-day outlaws and their terrifying leader are pursued by a local sheriff (Ron Perlman), after committing a horrific crime in a desolate southwest town. When a professor (Ali Larter) and her husband cross paths with the criminals, everyone is drawn into a spiral of violence and retribution where morality becomes ambiguous, and survival is the only option.

Kyle Schmid (Being Human), Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica), Tom Stevens (Supernatural), and Dakota Daulby (The 100) are also in the cast. The film was produced by Todd Berger, Nicholas Burnett Luke Daniels, Charles Leslie, Graem Luis, Shaun Sanghani, and Chathapuram.

I’m totally on board to watch this movie, having been sold on it as soon as I saw the cast list and the “neo-Western thriller” description. The trailer helped boost my interest even further. I look forward to watching Larter and Perlman face off with Ineson.
