The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs season 3 premieres next week

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Legendary movie host Joe Bob Briggs is returning to the Shudder streaming service for a third season of his show The Last Drive-In, and we're only a week away from the season 3 premiere! The first double feature of the season will begin streaming live in both the US and Canada on Friday, April 16th at 9pm Eastern. If you miss the live stream, the episode will be available to watch on demand as of April 18th.

In The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs,

Briggs, the world’s foremost drive-in movie critic, presents an eclectic horror movie double feature, interrupting the films to expound upon their merits, histories, and significance to genre cinema. The Last Drive-In premieres on Shudder’s live feed before being made available on demand; proving that an SVOD service can create appointment television, the show’s hashtag, #TheLastDriveIn, has trended in the top 10 on Twitter in the US during the premiere of every episode and special, often reaching number one.

Shudder airs Joe Bob specials on a regular basis, but the two regular seasons of The Last Drive-In have both consisted of nine episodes. It hasn't been confirmed whether or not season 3 will have the same episode count, but here's hoping it does. I will also accept more than nine episodes.
