The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: Man of Steel

If I learned anything about our community in last week’s chat, it was that schmoes love the Superman series. It was a great chat that showed how much people love the character yet it is time for a reboot. Last week was only the beginning. This week is the week we have been waiting for. Let’s see if a reboot can help relaunch a series as we chat about Man of Steel!

For the past year and a half, yours truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat every Sunday night at 7pm EST. We’ve chatted about all kinds of awesome flicks. Movies like Batman, The Matrix, Terminator 2 and the Hellboy series have all been topics for the chat. It’s the best place on the internet to get together in a fun and friendly atmosphere to talk about the movies we love.

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username and password. You are encouraged to bring up comments or questions about the movie at hand, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is chatting about. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. Directly insulting someone and/or trolling people will get you kicked from the chat.

Out of all the summer blockbuster movies that are coming out this year, Man of Steel sits at the top or damn near it for a lot of us. I, for one, can’t wait to see Supes kick all kinds of Kryptonian ass on the big screen! The trailers have all been very eye catching so far, but last week’s chat is really what has pushed my excitement over the top. Whether you love it or hate it, this is definitely going to be one movie that everyone will have something to talk about.
