The Paranormal Network YouTube channel has just released a new episode of the series Mytheries, and this episode is dedicated to the legend of the Jersey Devil. Sightings of the winged creature date back to the early settlement of the United States and continue to this day. Stories of the creature’s origins are filled with curses, blood, and fear, and have ties to major historical figures. In the video embedded above, we try to raise the devil and find out exactly what’s going on out there in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey.
Episodes of the Mytheries series
showcase various myths and mysteries from around the world and shine the light on incidents that have rocked history and can still not be explained. Each episode will be about a creature/myth/or in some cases people that are connected to it. To this day the creepiest thing about vampires is the fact that basically every culture in the world has a vampire myth but they never communicated to each other…so how did they know about them too? This is the place where Myth and Mystery combine.
The Jersey Devil episode was Written and Narrated by Jessica Dwyer, Edited by Zakk Denton, Produced by Jason Hewlett, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Episodes of Mytheries that delved into teenage terror urban legends, Krampus the Christmas Devil (not from New Jersey), and the Dyatlov Pass can be seen below.
