I'm sure that I'm not alone in counting THE INCREDIBLES to be one of the best, if not the best, movies which Pixar has produced over the past decades, so saying that the upcoming sequel has some fairly large super-boots to fill would likely be an understatement. But, with Brad Bird returning to both write and direct INCREDIBLES 2, I've got high hopes that it will go down as another Pixar triumph. With the release date just a few months away, we're on the verge of learning much more about INCREDIBLES 2, and to kick things off, Pixar/Disney has released a new poster for the film ahead of a new trailer which will debut tomorrow.
Check it out!
Who is the ominous figure perched above our heroes? Who are the group of super-heroes and/or super-villains unwisely striking a pose directly in front of a giant explosion? What does Jack-Jack have against that poor racoon? I'd imagine that answers to these questions will be coming before too long, perhaps in tomorrow's trailer, which we'll have up for you just as soon as it's available. INCREDIBLES 2 features the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Samuel L. Jackson, Brad Bird, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, Sophia Bush, Isabella Rossellini, and, of course, Pixar's good-luck charm, John Ratzenberger.
The official synopsis for INCREDIBLES 2:
Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
INCREDIBLES 2 will hit theaters on June 15, 2018.
