The Ghosts of Borley Rectory trailer: Julian Sands, Colin Baker, and spirits

I haven't seen director Steven M. Smith's supernatural horror film The Haunting of Borley Rectory (watch it HERE), which is based on an actual location that paranormal researcher Harry Price (who moved into the place for six months) called "the most haunted house in England", but the film had great success when it was released in 2019. For the first nine months of that year, The Haunting of Borley Rectory was the highest selling independent UK horror DVD. So it makes sense that Smith is revisiting that haunted location for The Ghosts of Borley Rectory, which is set to be released by Kaleidoscope Distribution on November 8th. The trailer can be seen in the embed above!

The Ghosts of Borley Rectory stars Toby Wynn-Davies as Harry Price, alongside Warlock's Julian Sands and former Doctor Who star Colin Baker. Here's the plot synopsis:

1937, Essex, England. Given an opportunity to investigate the most haunted house in England, leading British paranormal investigator, Harry Price, is given the keys to the infamous Borley Rectory for six months, hoping to discover the truth behind the hauntings, strange sounds and apparitions that have plagued the abandoned property and surrounding area for over 500 years.

The cast also includes Christopher Ellison, Toyah Willcox, Reece Putinas, and Leila Kotori.

Smith produced The Ghosts of Borley Rectory with Paul G. Andrews and Louisa Warren. Smith has said that he has been fascinated by the story of the Borley Rectory since he was a child, so he seems to be a fitting filmmaker for the material.

The real Borley Rectory was destroyed by fire, but before that happened people said they saw a phantom carriage and the ghost of a nun lurking around the house. Residents heard strange noises, objects moved on their own, and a human skull was found in a cupboard.
