The Fortress 2 image shows Bruce Willis all tied up and ready for interrogation

Bruce Willis looks less than enthusiastic in a new The Fortress 2 image released on Thursday. Presented as the second film in a planned trilogy The Fortress 2 revolves around a top-secret resort for retired U.S. Intelligence officers. Principal photography recently wrapped in Puerto Rico, with Chad Michael Murray, Jesse Metcalfe, and Shannen Doherty also set to star.

The Fortress is the name of the first film in the trilogy. It’s being directed by James Cullen Bressack based on a script written by Alan Horsnail. The plot revolves around a group of criminals hellbent on revenge. This, of course, forces a retired officer and his son to save the day. In addition to Willis, Murray, Metcalfe, and Doherty, the film also stars Ser’Darius Blain, Kelly Greyson, Sean Kanan, and Natalie Burn, amongst others. Filming for Fortress is already complete, with plans to release the movie sometime in 2022.

Josh Sternfield (Amy Makes Three, Meskada) will direct The Fortress 2 with Horsnail once again writing the script.

Willis currently has several projects either completed or in the works. His list of completed films includes The Fortress, Apex, and Deadlock. We’ve already talked about The Fortress, so why don’t we focus on the other two? Apex hails from director Edward Drake (Cosmic Sin, Broil) and centers on five elite hunters who pay to hunt down a man on a deserted island, only to find themselves becoming the prey. Joining Willis for Apex is Neal McDonough, Corey Large, Alexia Fast, Lochlyn Munro, Nels Lennarson, Megan Peta Hill, and Trevor Gretsky.

As for Deadlock, the upcoming action-thriller from director Jared Cohn tells the story of a gang of mercenaries holding a nuclear power plant hostage. The film also stars Patrick Muldoon, Matthew Marsden, Eric Buarque, Jared Bankens, Lorenzo Antonucci, Kelly-Lynn Reiter, Ava Paloma, and Michael DeVorzon, amongst others.

Woof! I would not want to be the other guy in the above-posted image once Willis gets loose. He might be getting up there in years, but I’m sure that he can still mess someone up when push comes to shove. Best of luck to you, dude. You’re going to need it.
