If all had gone according to plan, the fifteen season run of the CW show Supernatural would have already reached its conclusion. But of course nothing has gone according to plan in 2020, and the show had to shut down production before the last two episodes could be filmed. Now things are moving forward again, and as of today Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are expected to be on set to start filming their final scenes as Sam and Dean Winchester.
With those last episodes now being completed, The CW felt it was safe to announce that the remaining seven episodes of Supernatural season 15 will begin airing on Thursday, October 8th. This means the series finale will be done and ready to air on November 19th.
In case you haven't been watching Supernatural for the past fifteen years, the show follows the "epic journey" of the Winchester brothers as they
battle demons and angels, mythical creatures and monsters, in a seemingly unending quest to save the world.
It's a really cool show that I didn't start watching until it was several years into its run, so I haven't even gotten halfway through the previous seasons. Even after the final episode airs, I'm still going to have a bunch of seasons to catch up on.
