Sylvester Stallone’s television series debut is a hit. Tulsa King has recently been renewed for season 2 and became one of Paramount+’s biggest streaming titles. Now that the action star has found a cozy home with the studio amid his separation from his baby, the Rocky franchise, Deadline is reporting that Stallone will feature his own family in an upcoming docuseries for the streaming service.
The Family Stallone will be focusing on Sly, his real-life wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone, and their daughters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet. There will be an upcoming tease for it in a Super Bowl TV spot titled Stallone Face, which is part of Paramount+’s “Mountain of Entertainment” campaign. Fans of Stallone who follow him on Instagram are certainly no strangers to his wife and daughters as he regularly features them in posts, and two of his daughters, Sophia and Sistine, have started a podcast off the strength of having carved out a sect of social media stardom thanks to their father.
The eight-part docuseries is promising to “offer a seat at the table of one of Hollywood’s most famous families” as they show how the legendary action star and Oscar winner is simply “Dad” at home. His wife, Jennifer, is described as a “savvy businesswoman and co-owner of the wellness brand Serious Skin Care.” The eldest of his trio of daughters, Sophia, is currently content with hosting the podcast, Unwaxed, with her sister, but she has no current plans to explore the acting world. Whereas Sistine is already set to follow in her dad’s footsteps with her first feature film currently in development in addition to being a model. The youngest Stallone, Scarlet, will be heading off to college and is also planning on joining the Stallone acting world as she joins Sly in Tulsa King.
The Family Stallone will be produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, which is no stranger to the world of celebrity reality television as the former music channel started the craze with The Osbornes. Benjamin Hurvitz, Jessica Zalkind and Nadim Amiry as executive producers. Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, and Jonathan Singer serve as executive producers for Bunim-Murray Productions, with Lauren Goldstein, Valana Hunn, Chris Ray, and Jason Williams as co-executive producers.
