The Exorcist series adds Christopher Cousins and Cyrus Arnold

The second season of the Fox television series based on the classic horror film THE EXORCIST is continuing to build its new cast. Moving the demonic action from Chicago to Seattle, the series is only bringing back three actors from the first season – Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, and Kurt Egyiawan. So far the new supporting cast around them consists of John Cho, Brianna Hildebrand, Zuleikha Robinson, and Li Jun Li. Now a new announcement has revealed that Christopher Cousins and Cyrus Arnold are joining the series as well, both in recurring roles.

The Exorcist's second season will pick up with 

Father Tomas Ortega (Herrera) and a newly collarless Marcus Keane (Daniels) out of Chicago and on the road, searching out evil. Across the Atlantic, Father Bennett (Egyiawan) attempts to weed out those within the Vatican who have turned against God. Ultimately, Tomas and Marcus are led to Andrew Kim (Cho), a former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle. When one of the children under Andrew’s care is targeted by a powerful force, the two priests head west, setting themselves on a collision course with hell.

Hildebrand will be playing one of Andrew Kim's foster children, and so will Cyrus Arnold (pictured above). Arnold's character is David "Truck" Johnson III, a boy who is "big for his age so people treat him like an adult, but he still thinks and acts like a child."

Christopher Cousins, best known for playing Ted Beneke on Breaking Bad, will be playing a friend of the Kim family, U.S. Fish and Wildlife investigator Peter Morrow.

Li Jun Li's character is a social worker, Robinson's a mysterious figure waging her own private war against the Catholic patriarchy.
