I was a (surprisingly) big fan of the first season of FOX's killer TV series based on William Peter Blatty's THE EXORCIST. I dug all the twists and turns and fully expected to devour season 2.
But then THE EXORCIST S2 premiere came and went and still I have yet to watch a single episode of the new season. Why? Busy watching other shows, unfortunately.
But that doesn't mean others aren't watching the second season in mass. In fact, yesterday on TVLine the site reported that ratings for FOX's "Hell’s Kitchen (3.1 mil/0.8) was steady, while The Exorcist (1.54 mil/0.5) is currently eyeing gains of 25 percent."
A gain of 25%? That's f*cking great, THE EXORCIST! Keep it going.

THE EXORCIST S2E1 synopsis via Spoiler TV:
Six months after leaving Chicago, Father Tomas continues his training to become an exorcist under the watchful eye of his partner Marcus Keane. Their travels lead them to a troubled young woman in rural Montana, where their investigation puts them in the crosshairs of her extended family. But as Tomas' skills continue to grow, Marcus begins to worry that his apprentice is taking unnecessary risks.
The action then switches to a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle, where Andy Kim (John Cho, "Star Trek," "Harold & Kumar") runs a group home for at-risk foster children, whose lives are disrupted when the state sends a social worker (Li Jun Li, "Quantico," "Blindspot") to determine whether the foster home should be closed. Little do they know the true danger is yet to come: a malevolent presence that has set its sights upon one of the children in Andy's care.
The new season stars Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, John Cho, Kurt Egyiawan, Brianna Hildebrand, Zuleikha Robinson, and Li Jun Li.
THE EXORCIST Season Two is currently airing on FOX.
