Denzel Washington closes out his action trilogy with this year’s The Equalizer 3. Antoine Fuqua has thrown around the idea of exploring the early days of the character in the franchise, and perhaps Denzel’s son, John David Washington, could possibly step into the role for the younger incarnation. Meanwhile, Robert McCall’s last outing will be coming to digital platforms tomorrow, November 7. Sony has now unveiled the details for the Blu-ray, 4K UHD and DVD releases.

The third film’s synopsis from Sony reads,
“Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.”
