Well, the movie took two years to finally be released on U.S. theaters but Darkness
(see Arrow’s review here) is wasting no time coming out on DVD and it’s coming unrated and uncut. The question is, will it make much of a difference on a rather disappointing film? Dimension Films isn’t releasing much details on the DVD, but they did dish out the cover art for both the unrated and rated versions. Not much to say about them…rather plain…kinda like the movie…

For many of us awaiting this DVD, it has been an emotional ride so far. We we’re happy at first, when Seed of Chucky: Unrated was announced. And for the bad news, it has been delayed from it’s original April 12th release, all the way to June 7th, 2005. Well, at least they are giving us the right version of the film and not another watered down DVD release. For the patient ones, here’s the extras you can look forward to four months from now…

If I got you excited there for a minute, sorry for some of you, that is because this is of course coming out on Region 2 and 3 DVD first. But you can bet your Chestburster that this version will hit the U.S. soon. So onto this DVD version. When Alien Vs. Predator (See Arrow’s Review Here) was announced to be made in PG-13, I first, puked in the nearby urinal, and then said to myself “Well, I’ll just check the Uncut DVD”. And this region 2 DVD has officially been tagged with a 15 rating, which is equivalent to an R Rating. So that’s welcoming news! Here’s what else is to be expected on the DVDs…
