The dead rise in this trailer for Salem season 3

In the third season of WGN America's Salem, the sleepy Massachusetts town is going to hell. Full disclosure, I haven't seen a single episode of the show, but this promo makes me want to cast a curse on myself for missing so much. A flaming town in disarray and a slew of corpses coming to life shows that the series isn't afraid of pushing the envelope and raising the stakes way higher than anyone could have predicted. Here's the synopsis of the devilish third season:

The third season of Salem dawns with the triumph of the witches’ plan to remake the New World by bringing the devil to earth and making Salem his capital. But the devil is a liar, and instead of a New World free from murderous Puritan hypocrisy, his own plan will bring nothing but death and slavery with the ultimate aim of leading humanity to destroy itself.

Salem stars Janet Montgomery, Shane West, Seth Gabel, Ashley Madekwe, Tamzin Merchant, Elise Eberle, Iddo Goldberg, Joe Doyle, and Oliver Bell. Marilyn Manson will guest star this season as the barber/surgeon Thomas Dinley.
