The Dead Don’t Die posters showcase greatest zombie cast ever

Writer-director Jim Jarmusch's zombie-comedy THE DEAD DON'T DIE will have its world premiere as the opening film at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14th and is then scheduled to be released by Focus Features into a theater near you this June. And today we have a series of character poster for you to check out. They feature four highlights from the killer cast including Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Tilda Swinton, and Chloe Sevigny.

This movie has me very intrigued as Jarmusch is one of the stranger directors we have working today. Just check out some of his films such as DOWN BY LAW, DEAD MAN, and ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE for reference. Will this film be as straight forward as it appears? I guess we'll see this summer.

Meanwhile, check out the character posters below and then let us know what you think! The plot goes a little something like this:

In a peaceful, small town, zombies suddenly rise from their graves, terrorizing the citizens. Three bespectacled police officers and a strange Scottish mortician with a love for drag makeup and sword fighting must band together to try and stay alive. The road to survival, however, may be a dead end.

THE DEAD DON’T DIE boasts to have "the greatest zombie cast ever disassembled" and this includes Bill Murray as Chief Cliff Robertson, Adam Driver as Officer Ronald Peterson, Tilda Swinton, Chloë Sevigny as Minerva Morrison, Steve Buscemi as Farmer Miller, Danny Glover as Hank Thompson, Caleb Landry Jones as Bobby Wiggins, Rosie Perez as a news reporter, Iggy Pop as a zombie, Sara Driver as a zombie, RZA, Carol Kane as a zombie, Selena Gomez as Zoe, Tom Waits as Hermit Bob, Austin Butler as Jack, and Luka Sabbat as Zach.

Jim Jarmusch directs the film from a screenplay he wrote himself and the flick is produced by Carter Logan and Joshua Astrachan. THE DEAD DON'T DIE It will have its world premiere as the opening film at the Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2019, and is then set to reach theatres on June 14th.
