The Craft 4K UHD collector’s edition coming from Scream Factory

I certainly didn’t expect this at the time of its initial release, but the 1996 teen witch movie The Craft (watch it HERE) has proven to be an enduring genre classic. Now the awesome folks at Scream Factory have announced that they will be giving The Craft a 4K UHD collector’s edition release on May 17th. They’re already accepting pre-orders at their website, and fans who order directly from them will receive “an EXCLUSIVE 18″ X 24″ ROLLED POSTER featuring the original theatrical artwork, available while supplies last!”

Directed by Andrew Fleming from a screenplay he wrote with Peter Filardi, The Craft tells the following story:

After transferring to a Los Angeles high school, Sarah finds that her telekinetic gift appeals to a group of three wannabe witches, who happen to be seeking a fourth member for their rituals. Bonnie, Rochelle, and Nancy, like Sarah herself, all have troubled backgrounds, which combined with their nascent powers lead to dangerous consequences. When a minor spell causes a fellow student to lose her hair, the girls grow power-mad.

The film stars Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Rachel True, Skeet Ulrich, Cliff DeYoung, Christine Taylor, Breckin Meyer, and Helen Shaver.
