The climax is coming in new Fifty Shades Freed trailer

If I were to use the sentence “the last two movies in the series have made $950 million combined,” you’d probably think I was talking about a superhero franchise, the latest YA adaptation or even an animated saga about what kitchen appliances do when no one is home. But no, this particular dollar amount applies to the FIFTY SHADES movies, with the first and second entries causing audiences to flock to theaters to soak up all the intrigue, romance and intense sexuality. Now the final film is almost upon us, and the final trailer teases that in order for Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) to achieve "happily ever after" they’re going to have to deal with a few kidnappings. Some would say marriage in itself is a kidnapping, amiright?

Here is the official plot synopsis:

Believing they have left behind shadowy figures from their past, newlyweds Christian and Ana fully embrace an inextricable connection and shared life of luxury.  But just as she steps into her role as Mrs. Grey and he relaxes into an unfamiliar stability, new threats could jeopardize their happy ending before it even begins.

FIFTY SHADES FREED also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Eric Johnson, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes and arrives February 9, 2018.
