Just a couple of weeks after the announcement that MTV's upcoming "Scream" pilot had found its leads we now have word that the series has added four new additions, including one who will be replacing a previously announced character.
THR is reporting that Bex Taylor-Klaus ("Arrow") is taking over for Amy Forsyth as 'Audrey', a teen who aspires to be a filmmaker. No reason was revealed as to why Forsyth exited the role, but three other cast announcements have been made alongside Taylor-Klaus, including THE FINAL DESTINATION's Bobby Campo, SHARKNADO's Connor Weil, and Joel Gretsch (THE 4400).
Bobby Campo will recur as Seth Branson, the hot English teacher at Lakewood High who has an easy charm and is clearly one of the "cool" teachers, who can go with it if a lesson plan gets a little off-track.
Connor Weil will be a series regular and portray Will Belmont, an all-American high school basketball player who adores his girlfriend, Emma (Fitzgerald).
Joel Gretsch is set as Sheriff Clark Hudson, a good guy and good sheriff who is father to Kieran (Amadeus Serafini).
Jamie Travis (FAKIN' IT) will direct the pilot which was penned by Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin. Jill Blotevogel will serve as showrunner for the series. Wes Craven, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad are executive producers.
