The Book of Boba Fett: Temuera Morrison wants revenge on Mace Windu in season 2

The Book of Boba Fett will be coming to an end tomorrow but Temuera Morrison doesn’t want to call it quits. It turns out that the Boba Fett actor has a very personal reason for wanting to return for a second season: To take out Mace Windu.

As we know, the Jedi Master known as Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson) killed Jango Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones in a rather gruesome fashion, decapitating him with a lightsaber in full view of young Boba Fett. After all these years, you might imagine that Boba is eager to take his revenge. While speaking with IMDb, Temuera Morrison said that he “owes him big time for my dad. He’s done, he’s done. I’ve got my eye on him. He’s top of the list, in fact.” Morrison added that “we’d better let Jon Favreau know that we should have another series, and I’ll start looking for Mace.

The idea of Boba Fett finally confronting Mace Windu is a powerful one, but there is the small matter of his death. After confronting Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and confirming that he was indeed a powerful Sith lord, Mace Windu was attacked by Anakin Skywalker and received the full brunt of Palpatine’s Force lightning. The blast sent him flying out the window of Palpatine’s office and plummeting to the depths belwo. Although this was obviously meant to be the demise of Mace Windu, there have been plenty of rumours that he has survived all this time. Samuel L. Jackson certainly believes that Mace Windu is still out there, telling Entertainment Weekly that “Jedi can fall from amazing distances” and that “there’s a long history of one-handed Jedi. So why not?” Jackson has even made a believer out of Star Wars creator George Lucas, who apparently told Jackson, “I’m okay with that. You can be alive.

Would you like to see a second season of The Book of Boba Fett and if so, would you like to see Mace Windu return?
