We defend the underrated 1988 Biblical thriller The Seventh Sign! Video!

There is nothing better than a religious thriller when time are hard. Like ice cream in the winter, sometimes it’s best just to lean in.  I have been catching up on all the classics these days like THE OMEN, THE EXORCIST, and ROSEMARY’S BABY but I’m always game for an underdog.

Which brings me to THE SEVENTH SIGN (WATCH IT HEREOWN IT HERE). This was a movie I hadn’t seen in ages and was blown away by how well it held up. A personal and tragic tale that’s framed around the second coming of Jesus and the apocalypse that follows. This has a surprising amount of heart and a very relatable message for our current situation. Though not one of Demi’s or Biehn’s best films, I strongly recommend you give this a second look and hopefully come to the same conclusion as I did, It is NO BLACK SHEEP!

Starring a beautiful Demi Moore, a classy Michael Biehn and an amazing babyface turn for Jürgen Prochnow, THE SEVENTH SIGN is about

Abby Quinn is eagerly awaiting childbirth but is haunted by dreams where she suffers a miscarriage. When she decides to rent a room to a mysterious stranger, she realizes a chain of events that will unleash the end of humanity.

Give the video a watch and pop off in the comments with your own thoughts. As for me, I’d recommend it to anyone in the mood for a late ‘80s cult classic.
