Director Matt Reeves‘ The Batman is scheduled to reach HBO Max on April 18th, with an HBO airing to follow on April 23rd at 8 pm Eastern. Then it’s going to reach 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 24th. Among the special features that will be included on the physical media release are “Deleted Scenes with Director’s Commentary” – and the folks at Collider have confirmed that there are going to be two deleted scenes. That Catwoman and Penguin scene involves

Scripted by Reeves and Peter Craig, The Batman has the following synopsis:
The Batman is an edgy, action-packed thriller that depicts Batman in his early years, struggling to balance rage with righteousness as he investigates a disturbing mystery that has terrorized Gotham. Robert Pattinson delivers a raw, intense portrayal of Batman as a disillusioned, desperate vigilante awakened by the realization that the anger consuming him makes him no better than the ruthless serial killer he’s hunting.
In addition to the actors mentioned above, the film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Lt. James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / The Riddler, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, and Barry Keoghan as The Joker.
Reeves produced The Batman with Dylan Clark. Michael E. Uslan, Walter Hamada, Chantal Nong Vo, and Simon Emanuel serve as executive producers. Are you going to be digging into those deleted scenes when you get The Batman on Blu-ray?
