It’s time for a new episode of The Arrow in the Head Show, and in this one the show’s hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon, Lance Vlcek, and Tyler Nichols are looking back at the first Halloween movie to ignore previous sequels in order to bring Jamie Lee Curtis back into the franchise, Halloween H20 (watch it HERE)! Released to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the original Halloween, H20 ignored the events of the Curtis-less parts 4, 5, and 6. (Of course, it also ignored Season of the Witch and its killer masks.) Twenty years later, Curtis came back to Halloween again for a movie that would ignore every Halloween film except the original, H20 included.
Directed by Steve Miner from a screenplay by Robert Zappia and Matt Greenberg, with some uncredited script work by Kevin Williamson, Halloween H20 has the following synopsis:
Two decades after surviving a massacre on October 31, 1978, former baby sitter Laurie Strode finds herself hunted by persistent knife-wielder Michael Myers. Laurie now lives in Northern California under an assumed name, where she works as the headmistress of a private school. But it’s not far enough to escape Myers, who soon discovers her whereabouts. As Halloween descends upon Laurie’s peaceful community, a feeling of dread weighs upon her — with good reason.
Curtis is joined in the cast by Adam Arkin, Michelle Williams, Adam Hann-Byrd, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Janet Leigh, Josh Hartnett, LL Cool J, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

We’re trying something a bit new here on Arrow In The Head. After many years behind the scenes, we’ve decided to take our sarcastic, booze-influenced style into the video age with The Arrow In The Head Show! Hosted by John Fallon aka The Arrow and Lance Vlcek, we will dig into not only the newest horror flicks hitting the big and small screens but also delve into the good, bad, and ugly of horror from the golden ages of the ’80s through the underrated 90s and maybe a bit beyond.
Something groovy and a tad rough around the edges, we are here to talk shop with a drink in hand, a bit of foul language, and a whole lot of heart.
