The American dream becomes a nightmare in the Beneath Us trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Just a couple weeks ago, we learned that distributor Vital Pictures/NME will be giving Max Pachman's "suspenseful and socially-relevant" horror film BENEATH US a limited theatrical release on March 6th, and now a trailer has arrived online to promote that release.

This is the feature directorial debut for Pachman, who also wrote the screenplay with Mark Mavrothalasitis. With dialogue in both English and Spanish, BENEATH US tells the following story:

The American Dream becomes a nightmare for a group of undocumented day laborers hired by a wealthy couple. What they hope to be their biggest payday turns into a terrifying fight for survival at the couple’s secluded mansion, and those thought to be helpless must prove they can’t be discarded so easily.

The film stars Lynn Collins, James Tupper, Rigo Sanchez, Roberto ‘Sanz’ Sanchez, Thomas Chavira, and Josue Aguirre.

BENEATH US was produced by Luis Guerrero, Chris Lemos, Jay Hernandez, and William Knochel. Vital Pictures/NME will be releasing the film into theatres in "major Latino markets throughout the U.S."

This looks like it's going to be quite intense and provocative. Check out the trailer above and see if this is a movie you'd like to seek out next month.
